I came to yoga at the age of 11 and was drawn to the beauty and serenity I felt during my first class. Yoga has since become an intrinsic part of my life providing a consistent and supportive space and providing me the tools to appreciate the varying challenges and pleasures in life.
Having lived in London all my life I understand the pressures of big city life and teach with empathy for our fast paced life whilst remaining authentic to yoga’s ancient roots.
I am fascinated by the different cultures, and the ancient wisdom of elders. My eclectic yoga teacher training incorporates the teachings of different cultures which inspires my classes:
200 hour Hatha and Vinyasa with Shamanic Medicine Wheel of Peru with Janani Ayni
200 hour Vinyasa and Yin with Tara South (Mandala Yoga) and Mel McLaughlin (The Yin Space) incorporating Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five elements
200 hour Vinyasa with Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo Deemer at Triyoga London
My classes are about enjoying the moment we have decided to spend on the mat. I create a nurturing and non-competitive environment for students of all experience and ability levels to explore and enjoy yoga safely
Yoga has allowed me to reconnect with my breath, body and heart. I endeavour to help others strengthen their connection.
